Mary Wahne Baker joined the Hinkle Law Firm as an associate in 2011. Her practice focuses in the areas of trial and appellate law, particularly oil and gas litigation and medical defense.

Ms. Baker is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is licensed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. She is a member of the Midland County Bar Association and the Midland County Young Lawyers Association. 

Ms. Baker received her B.A. from St. Mary's University in 2004, graduating summa cum laude with a double-major in Philosophy and Speech Communications. She graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007, where she was served on the Executive Board of the Texas Tech University Law Review as Symposium Editor. Prior to joining the Hinkle Law Firm, Ms. Baker was a law clerk to the Hon. Robert Junell in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas for four years.  She is a member of the Junior League of Midland and volunteers with the Midland Teen Court.
