Joseph Baker is an Associate of the law firm of Hinkle, Hensley, Shanor & Martin, L.L.P. in Midland, Texas.  His practice area focuses on general litigation, covering oil and gas, land titles, contracts, and medical malpractice.

 

Hailing originally from the Forth Worth area, Mr. Baker graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He is also a magna cum laude graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and gained practical courtroom experience in the Texas Tech Criminal Defense clinic, representing indigent defendants.

 

Mr. Baker is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico.  Mr. Baker has also been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Texas and the District of New Mexico.  He is a member of the Midland County Bar Association and the Midland Young Lawyers Association.
