James
H. Bozarth is a partner located in the Roswell office. He also
staffs the Ruidoso office of Hinkle, Hensley, Shanor & Martin
on a part time basis. Mr Bozarth is licensed to practice law
in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. He has been engaged in the
practice of law in Roswell, New Mexico since 1974, having
practiced in a large law firm, as a sole practitioner and in
small firms. From 1970 to 1974, Mr. Bozarth was an attorney
with the Tax Division of the U. S. Department of Justice in
Washington, D.C. Mr. Bozarth is a graduate of Lamar State
University (1967), and holds a J.D. degree from the University
of Texas School of Law (1970) and a Masters of Law degree in
Taxation from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
(1974).
Mr. Bozarth was a member of the Board of Directors and is an
Elder of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Roswell from 1999 through
2001. He is past Chairman of the Roswell Planning and Zoning
Commission, of which he had been a member for eight years, and
helped organize and is a past Director of Mainstreet Roswell,
Inc. Mr. Bozarth helped organize and served six years as a
member of the Board of Directors of Assurance Home, Inc., a
home for abused and neglected children, and helped organize
and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of
Assurance Home Foundation, Inc. Mr. Bozarth has also served as
a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Chaves
County and Working Mother's Day Nursery.
