JEFFREY L. FORNACIARI

Jeffrey L. Fornaciari is a
partner in the Santa Fe office of Hinkle, Hensley, Shanor
& Martin, L.L.P. His practice involves the areas of
general litigation and administrative law. He currently
represents Xcel Energy Company and Southwestern Public Service
Company in electric utility proceedings before the New Mexico
Public Regulation Commission (NMPRC) and has appeared in SPS
cases before the Public Utility Commission of Texas. In
relation to his representation of SPS, Mr. Fornaciari has
participated in cases involving industry restructuring, rates
and service, fuel adjustment clause charges, securities
issuances, diversified transactions and investments,
rulemakings, and certification of generation plants and
transmission facilities. Additionally, he represents Rio
Grande Utility and Picacho Hills Utility Company in NMPRC
proceedings.
His practice areas include commercial, natural resources,
water rights and environmental law before state and federal
courts and state administrative agencies.
Mr. Fornaciari received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Colorado in 1966, Juris Doctor from the
University of New Mexico School of Law, and L.L.M. from the
George Washington University National Law School with highest
honors in 1971. He is a member of the Supreme Court of
New Mexico, U.S. District Court for the District of New
Mexico, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, District
of Columbia Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the
District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District
of Columbia Circuit, U.S. District Court of Arizona, and the
U.S. District Court for Nevada. |
