JAMES M. HUDSON

James M. Hudson is a partner in the Roswell, New Mexico office of Hinkle, Hensley, Shanor & Martin, L.LP. He also has practiced in the firm's Midland, Texas office. His practice involves litigation in state and federal courts in New Mexico and Texas involving a wide variety of issues relating to the oil and gas industry including claims of reservoir drainage and damage, disputes relating to joint operating agreements, lease termination, seismic exploration, and surface access issues. Mr. Hudson's practice also includes commercial and banking litigation, and inverse condemnation claims under the Fifth Amendment. Mr. Hudson received his B.A.
With Honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1980 and his law degree from the University of New Mexico in 1984. Mr. Hudson is admitted to practice in both New Mexico and Texas, as well as various federal district and appellate courts. He has served on the State Bar of New Mexico's Alternative Methods of Dispute Resolution Committee and Commission on Professionalism. He is author of
