Albert L. Pitts is a partner in the Roswell, New Mexico office of Hinkle, Hensley,
Shanor & Martin, L.L.P., where he focuses on litigation in the areas of labor and employment law, personal injury, environmental law, property law, professional liability, and general civil litigation. Mr. Pitts has served as a trial attorney in cases involving labor and employment, environmental, personal injury, property, business, premises liability, contract and commercial litigation. Mr. Pitts has been a mediator and arbitrator in a wide range of civil cases. A 1971 graduate of the University of Illinois (with distinction), Mr. Pitts received his J.D. degree from the IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law in 1975. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General and as a private practitioner before joining Hinkle, Hensley, Shanor & Martin, L.L.P. in 1985. He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, and the Chaves County Bar Association (former President), and is the past President of the MCLE Board and is a barrister of the George L. Reese, Jr. American Inn of Court.
