Albert L. Pitts is a partner in the Roswell, New Mexico office of Hinkle Shanor LLP, where he focuses on litigation in the areas of labor and employment law, personal injury, environmental law, property law, professional liability, and general civil litigation. Mr. Pitts has served as a trial attorney in cases involving labor and employment, environmental, personal injury, property, business, premises liability, contract and commercial litigation. Mr. Pitts has been a mediator and arbitrator in a wide range of civil cases. A 1971 graduate of the University of Illinois (with distinction), Mr. Pitts received his J.D. degree from the IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law in 1975. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General and as a private practitioner before joining Hinkle Shanor LLP in 1985. He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, and the Chaves County Bar Association (former President), and is the past President of the MCLE Board and is a barrister of the George L. Reese, Jr. American Inn of Court.
