Parker B. Folse
Partner
Parker B. Folse is a trial lawyer with comprehensive state and federal court experience, representing clients in complex civil litigation across New Mexico. His practice spans commercial disputes, employment matters, director and officer liability, complex insurance coverage litigation, intellectual property cases, and the defense of catastrophic oilfield claims for oil and gas operators and service providers. Parker has managed high-exposure personal injury and wrongful death cases from investigation through trial, developing strategies from the earliest stages and working with technical experts, industry professionals, and in-house counsel to position matters for successful resolution—whether through courtroom advocacy or negotiated settlements.
Over the course of his career, Parker has litigated in courts throughout New Mexico, gaining a practical understanding of the state’s legal culture and regional dynamics. He is well-versed in how people, politics, and local issues can shape litigation outcomes, enabling him to anticipate challenges, navigate procedural complexities, and craft strategies suited to each forum. His clients include businesses ranging from small companies to large corporations, governmental bodies, and educational institutions, and his work covers trials and appeals.
A Dallas native, Parker earned his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. In law school, he served on the American Indian Law Review, competed on the National Arbitration Team, and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law. He serves as Bar Commissioner for the Fifth District on the New Mexico State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners, and is active in his community through service on the Immanuel Lutheran Church Council, the Roswell-Chaves County Economic Development Corporation Board, and the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation Board. Outside of work, Parker enjoys hiking and camping in New Mexico’s varied landscapes, watching his daughter progress in gymnastics, and making occasional—if reluctant—trips to the gym at the encouragement of his personal-trainer wife.
